Another year is almost history. Here in The City of Big Shoulders, the local metal scene was not as prolific with its releases as it has been in the past years. However, after hashing out the first draft of my customary "Top 10" list of local releases, I noticed that it seemed sparse, especially when compared to my recently published list of "Top 25 Overall" metal releases. So, while writing up my second draft, I decided again to extend the list a little.
